In 2025 Nacho Rubio, his wife Blanca, and their son Kaleb made the decision to leave behind the Oilfield life in search of a more peaceful life. The idea began as a small side business, serving up creative “fancy sodas” and homemade fried pies started by Blanca and Annie (wife of their oldest son and mother to their grandson Nacho IV "Cuatrito"). Inspired by that success, and support from their sons Nacho, Austin and Rod they planned to expand into something bigger that reflected their passion for Delicious Quality Food, Genuine Hospitality and their Love of Live Music. Drawn to the small town charm and unique personality of Menard, a place they had grown to love, they decided it was the perfect place to start fresh. There, Western Skies Burgers and Fries was born, a Family Spot dedicated to Simple, Delicious, High-Quality Meals. WSB&F is more than just a Restaurant, it’s a way to Slow Down, ENJOY LIFE, and Build a Wholesome Future centered on Faith, Family, and Hard Work.
